The Upper Dean River is similar to the Blackwater River, teeming with wild native rainbows that love dry flies. Frequent hatches are the norm, but the caddis and mayfly are the most common. We access the Dean by floatplane from Moose Lake. All trips on the Dean River are guided. We have a powerboat on the river to move anglers to various runs.
